  • Thursday 1st March- POTENTIAL SCHOOL CLOSURE

    Wed 28 Feb 2018

    Dear Parents/Carers,

Given the weather conditions and likely forecast overnight with ice and potentially more snow, it is likely that school will remain closed tomorrow. If this is the case, we will reschedule 'World Book Day' so the children don't miss out wearing their outfits!

If school does open tomorrow, it will not be open until 10am.

Please await confirmation in the morning either way. This should come through to you by 8am.

Thank you for your continued support

  • *Snow Alert* Due to the adverse weather conditions School will be closed today.

    Wed 28 Feb 2018
Unfortunately, school will be closed today due to the poor road conditions and staff not being able to make the journey safely into work. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  • An introduction by our new Chair of Governers, Mr Andrew Wood

    Fri 09 Feb 2018
Firstly, I would like to thank our out going Chair (incoming Vice Chair), Sarah Porter. She has worked tirelessly in her duties and the school has benefitted from her passion to improve all aspects in leadership, governance, maintenance and most importantly, the quality of education your children receive. I have a hard act to follow, but we have a wonderful team of governors, excellent Headteacher, dedicated staff and your children will be the recipients as we strive to continue improving.
I know I will be a little unknown to many of you, because I was introduced to the role by a teacher a few years ago and asked to be a Foundation governor. I have worked and volunteered in the charity/social enterprise environment for the last 12 years, currently holding positions Deputy Chair at Sheffield Young Carers, Trustee at a digital community mental health charity- Sheffield Flourish, Trustee at Element Society (NCS Provider) and my day job is with the NHS Confederation.
I have been married for 25 years (this year) and have two boys, one in University and the other just about to go, so this year also gives my wife and I the opportunity to move house to the area we spend hours walking around, the beautiful Peak District. I look forward to serve as the Chair of Governors and may God bless us all with our endeavours.
  • Christingle

    Fri 02 Feb 2018

What a lovely Christingle Service we had today with each class remembering courageous people.  They all worked so hard towards their presentations and were absolutely amazing as always.  I think everyone will agree that seeing all the children assembled around the church in the dark with their lit Christingle is a truly beautiful and special sight.

Welcome to our school website. We are a 3-11 year old school and have our own nursery. Please call to book a visit on 01246 583203
