• Whole School Trip to Chatsworth

  What a lovely morning we all had at Chatsworth..... even the weather was kind whilst we were there! The whole school got to enjoy the gardens first thing....... Class 4 then got to sketch inside Chatsworth House, Class 3 had an amazing time doing Forest Schools in Stand Wood whilst Class 1, 2 and Nursery got to enjoy the farmyard! What a great way to finish the week 🙂

  

• Harvest parcels

  The children on the School council had a great time collecting and putting together fourteen harvest parcels ready to deliver to the elderly residents in Pilsley. These were all very gratefully received and it was lovely to see the children working to support members of their local community. Well done everyone!

  

• Welcome to Peter and Cottontail

  Well...nobody can say that we aren’t original! A highly anticipated democratic process began in school last week to name the bunnies and if you haven’t already heard, their names are Cottontail and Peter. The children have loved welcoming the bunnies into school this week and are really enjoying learning more about how to handle and care for animals.
