  • Greenaway Day

    Fri 22 Jun 2018
Class 4 have been to Lady Manners this morning for Greenaway Day. Miss Davison was really impressed to see how friendly and sociable all our children were when they were mixing with children from other schools. They had lots of ideas and were very happy to share them! We are so proud of our pupils as they were in the top three literary presentation groups, which is fantastic.
  • PTA Summer Fair

    Fri 22 Jun 2018
Thank you to everybody who was able to support the summer fair at school last night. It was a lovely sunny evening with a lovely atmosphere. We raised a very impressive £1243.31! There was an incredible amount of hard work put into organising the fair and this event would not have been able to go ahead without people giving up huge amounts of their own time. Credit must go to Marie Allinson (Chair) and Mandy Read (Vice Chair) for co- ordinating this event for us. As a school, we are incredibly grateful to the PTA who subsidise events, trips and pay for equipment etc. that we could otherwise struggle to afford. As such, we rely on this support to maximise the opportunities and experiences that we can provide to our children. Everybody’s help and support is very much appreciated, thank you.
  • Class 2 Cricket Tournament at Gt Longstone

    Fri 22 Jun 2018
We were so proud of all our Y1 and Y2 children who took part in the cricket tournament at Longstone yesterday. They all played brilliantly and did a wonderful job of representing our school. At each tournament, a special trophy is presented to the school who adheres to one particular value. This time the value was ‘honesty’ and the trophy was awarded to us! Well done to everybody involved.

  • RHS Chatsworth

Wed 06 Jun 2018 Miss Davison

Today, team RHS visited the flower show at Chatsworth. It was a very busy and exciting day, full of things to see and do. We had a go at floristry and woodwork in some of the exhibits. We also met the education team and became plant explorers.

We loved seeing our entry of George’s Marvelous Medicine Cabinet amongst all the other upcycled planters. We find out the results on Thursday but the competition was strong!

Welcome to our school website. We are a 3-11 year old school and have our own nursery. Please call to book a visit on 01246 583203
