Places at Pilsley C of E Primary School are allocated by the Local Authority.

Each school has a Planned Admission Number (PAN). This is currently 12 per year group.The Local Authority and the school make every effort not to exceed this class allocation size. There may be occasions, following appeal, when this number is exceeded but only in exceptional circumstances.

The school maintains an Admissions Register for pre-school children. If you would like your child's name to be included, please contact the school office. Information about starting school will be sent to you during the Autumn term preceding the academic year your child is due to start. Having your child’s name on the register at Pilsley C of E Primary School does not guarantee your child a place at our school as places are allocated by the Local Authority.

The information for applications for places in Reception for September 2022 has already been sent out for children by the Local Authority. If you have not previously contacted the school but would like this information please telephone the school office on 01269 583203. Prospective parents are invited to meet with the Headteacher for a tour of the school.
