The PTA will be limited this year on how much they can fund, and this is because we are unable to organise the events we normally have. Please continue to support the small events that are being held, and we will try to do this in as safe a way as possible in light of the Covid 19 restrictions.
If you have any ideas we can use for fundraising during the current climate, these would be greatly appreciated. Please speak to any member of the committee or simply email your ideas into school and they will be passed on.
NEXT MEETING: Tuesday 5th April 2022, 20:30 on Zoom. Look out for email details via school or join our Friends of Pilsley School WhatsApp group.

We are part of a Terracycle schemes to recycle crisp packets, multi-pack snack biscuit packets, biscuit packets and kinder packaging . Please can you save your packets and put them in a carrier bag and tie this up, then bring them into school at drop off time on a Monday morning. The money raised will go straight to school.
Keep saving your used, branded, ink cartridges and toners and help raise money and eco points
We are working with a company called ‘Empties Please’. They collect and recycle used ink and toner cartridges the environmentally friendly way and will donate the money raised back to us!
It’s very simple. All you have to do is save your used ink cartridges (original brand cartridges from HP, Cannon, Lexmark, Samsung accepted) or toner cartridges (original Brother, Dell, HP, Canon, Epson) and an email will be out shortly to tell you when you can drop these off at school. ‘Empties Please’ will collect the bin when it’s full and then donate money raised straight back to our school with a certificate to display in our reception area.
If you are having a clear out, please save school uniform, clothing, bedding, CD’s, DVD’s and books for future PTA jumble sales, second-hand uniform sales and for other fundraising initiatives like Bags for Schools and Ziffit. From time to time an email will be out to tell you when you can drop these off at school safely.
