What is a Playground 'Buddy' or 'Mini-Leader'?
Playground Buddies and Mini-leaders are trained volunteer pupils who work in pairs to support children of all ages on the playground with minor squabbles should they occur and show them how to play a range of games.
They offer a listening service for any pupil and help to ensure they have a friend to play with.
They are on the playground alongside adults and can be identified by their red coats.
