Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you have enjoyed the snowy weather this weekend! The children have certainly been excited to tell us all about their sledging exploits and snowmen building! It sounds like they've had lots of fun 🙂
Comic Relief 2023
On Friday, we will be having a non-uniform day in support of Comic Relief 2023. The children are welcome to come to school either wearing something red or in their usual clothes. If your child has PE on a Friday, please make sure that they are wearing suitable clothing and are also wearing trainers.
A suggested donation of £1 per child can be made via ParentPay which will then be paid directly to Comic Relief. After school on Friday, some of our school council members will be running a bake sale in the hall in aid of Comic Relief. They would be extremely grateful if donations for the bake sale could be brought into school ready for them to sell on Friday morning. If your child usually goes home on the school bus but would like to visit the bake sale at the end of the day, please send them in with some money (suggested £1). Thank you in advance for your support.
Mothering Sunday services at church
You are warmly invited to attend the Mothering Sunday services at church which are happening this weekend. St.Peter's church in Edensor are having a special service at 10.45am on Sunday and a service takes place at St.Anne's church in Beeley at 9.30am. Everyone welcome.

As you may know, further strikes are planned for this week by members of the NEU. The school will be open as usual on both days but supply staff may be used in some classes to provide cover. If there are any changes to these arrangements, I will inform you as soon as possible.
