As the busy summer term begins, here are some key dates for your diary. These dates will also be added to the school calendar in due course. 

Huge thanks to Emiliia's mum and Rowan's mum for their help this week in tidying the school garden. They've done a fabulous job- thank you so much!

The Y4s, Y5s and Y6s really enjoyed the visit from the outreach team from Imperial college, London yesterday afternoon. The children learnt lots about the atmosphere and really enjoyed the fun, engaging delivery of the session.

• Friday 16^th May: Y6 out all day at Whitworth Park in Darley Dale for a sports event (more info to follow)

• Friday 23rd May: INSET day

• Monday 2^nd June- term starts

• Monday 9^th June- Class photos

•                        Y1 Phonic screening check week

• Thursday 12^th June-  PTA Summer Fair (3.30-6pm)

• Monday 16^th June-Wednesday 18^th June: Y5/Y6 Boggle Hole residential 

• Thursday 19^th June- am- Greenaway day at Lady Manners for Y5 and Y6 (more info to follow)

• Friday 20^th June- pm- Junior Cavendish rehearsal (juniors to be collected from the Cavendish Hall. School bus running as usual)

• Saturday 21st June- Edensor day-Mrs Townsend and I are taking a group of juniors to sing at the opening of Edensor day

• Tuesday 24^th June- Junior Cavendish rehearsal pm (juniors to be collected from the Cavendish Hall. School bus running as usual)

• Wednesday 25^th June- Y6 Taster day at Lady Manners (all day)

• Thursday 26^th June- Sports Day at Chatsworth cricket ground from 1.30pm

• Friday 27^th June- INSET day

• Tuesday 1^st July- Junior rehearsal at the Cavendish pm (juniors to be collected from the Cavendish Hall. School bus running as usual)

• Wednesday 2^nd July- Y6 out all day at Lady Manners taster day

• Friday 4^th July- Junior Cavendish rehearsal pm (juniors to be collected from the Cavendish Hall. School bus running as usual)

• Tuesday 8^th July-  Y6 SATs results day

• Wednesday 9^th July- Junior performance at the Cavendish- 5.30pm

• Monday 14^th July-Tuesday 15^th July: Y2/Y3/Y4 residential at Dukes Barn, Beeley.

• Wednesday 23rd July- Y6 Leavers' service at 2pm in Edensor church

• Thursday 24^th July- INSET day

• The children come back to school after the summer break on Monday 8^th September 2025.
