Science Workshop with Class 4
On Tuesday 30th September, Class 4 were lucky to take part in an exciting science workshop. Our visitor led the children in creating their very own “potions” by carefully measuring and mixing different solids, including cornflour, bicarbonate of soda, citric acid, and even salt dyed green for effect. To make their mixtures even more magical, the children could choose to add a refreshing scent of either eucalyptus or peppermint – leaving our classroom smelling wonderful for days afterwards!
The session was a fantastic way for the children to explore mixtures in a hands-on and memorable way. They thoroughly enjoyed experimenting, measuring with precision, and seeing science come to life. Lots of fun (and learning) was had by all!
