Hello Class 4
I have loved seeing your work from the Imagine project - thank you for sending it! Learning about amazing musicians such as John Lennon and artists such as Pablo Picasso helps us remember how creative we can be in life - and how much art and music change our world!
The next fortnight focusses on the amazing world around us - What a Wonderful World.
As ever, have fun with you learning, be creative and think about what you new things you can achieve
Year 5 - work through the project and choose one English activity and complete one maths task each day.
Year 6 - have a look at the project as well as the maths and English. At school we will be working together on some of the activities, but also on transition activities for Lady Manners.
Keep in touch (firstname.lastname@example.org)
I hope you all enjoyed the Superheroes work - now it's time to set our feet firmly on the ground and let our Imaginations run away with us!
For the next two weeks (15.6.2020 - 26.6.2020), our whole school topic is called "Imagine". Lots of art, music and science for this topic - featuring one of my favourite musicians, John Lennon (he was, of course, one of the Fab Four - The Beatles!)
We are sharing most of the activities with Class 3, so we can work as a Junior team - if you have a sibling in Class 3 you might be able to work together.
Find the planning below, all the resources are there too.
Each day choose an English activity and one or two other activities from the Imagine Topic Activities on the planning presentation. There is also a Maths planning sheet for a Maths activity each day - don't forget the daily maths challenges that can be found here:https://www.pilsleycofe.derbyshire.sch.uk/daily-maths-challenges/
