The Daily Mile
All the children are enjoying running or jogging ‘The Daily Mile’ outdoors at school with their friends for 15mins per day since we started this activity in September. The aim of ‘The Daily Mile’ is to increase the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of our children. It’s also a great opportunity for the children to increase fitness and raise awareness of their own health. It’s also a social, non-competitive and fun activity and the children go back into their classrooms eager and ready to learn which is fantastic!
